Greeting Card Ministry reaches out in both happy and sorrowful times. Congratulations are extended on birthdays and the birth of new babies. ‘Get Well’ and ‘Thinking of You’ cards are sent to shut-ins or those in hospital to remind them that we are praying for their comfort and healing. Cards of sympathy are sent with caring and compassionate thoughts.
Individuals who have provided the church office with their complete birth dates are sent birthday cards on the occasion of their 75th birthday, again on their 80th birthday, and every year after 80. If you hear of someone who is celebrating a special occasion or suffering with an illness, please notify the church office.
In the year 2018, there was a total of 75 cards sent out in terms of this ministry.
